![]() Music time was made in conjuction with a BBC music television series in 1979. It features Peter and his co-star Kathryn Harries.
Vagabond was Peter's first solo album. It was recorded back in Australia in 1982 and was released by Bacalunga Music.
Songs for Little Kids was also released in 1982. It was recorded in Sydney and released through ABC Music. In November of 1992 the album went Gold. It was re-released as 'Happy Singing' in 1994 through Rascal Records
Spaghetti Bolognaise(and more songs for little kids) was released in 1985 by ABC. It went Gold in December of 1988, and then Platinum in May of 1993.
Toffee Apple was released through ABC in 1987. In March of 1988 it went Gold. It then went on to go Platinum in December of 1989. It was also awarded the ARIA for 'Best Children's Record' in 1987.
Newspaper Mama was released in 1988 through ABC. In June of 1989 it went Gold. It was awarded the ARIA for 'Best Children's Record' in 1988.
Chopsticks was released in 1989 through ABC. By August of 1991 it had gone Gold. It received a ARIA final nomination for 'Best Australian Children's Record' in 1989.
Peter Combe's Christmas Album was released in 1990 through ABC records. In December of that year it went Gold.
The Absolutely Very Best Of Peter Combe (So Far) was recorded before a live audience in the Adelaide ABC studios. It was released through ABC music in 1990 and received a Gold Album award in December of 1991. In 1991 it also received the ARIA for 'Best Australian Children's Record'. It was re-released in 2000 through Rascal Records, this time featuring 3 bonus tracks.
In 1992 Peter embarked on a massive project; to adapt May Gibb's classic story 'Snugglepot and Cuddlepie' into a full length musical. In March of 1993 it was performed at the Adelaide Festival Theatre featuring such artists as Keith Conlon, Catherine Lambert, Eric Bogle and Ruth Cracknell. It was recorded and released as a CD in that same year through Rascal Records.
Spook was recorded in 1993 and released through Rascal Records. It features The Australian String Quartet.
In 1994 Peter released an album which compiled all of his best known songs. Spaghetti Bolognaise, Mr Clicketty Cane, Newspaper Mama, Toffee Apple, Juicy Juicy Green Grass, Chopsticks and more. It was released by Rascal Records.
Little Groover was released in 1996 by Rascal Records, and an accompaning video was also made.
Best Friends was recorded in 1999 and released through Rascal Records. The cover features 2 of Peter's daughters; (from left to right) Alice and Joni.
Live and Rocking was originally released as The Absolutely Very Best Of Peter Combe (So Far). It was re-released in 2000 by Rascal Records and featured 3 bonus tracks.
Songs from a Telephone Box was Peter's first adult album in 20 years. It is also only the second to date. It was released in 2002 through Rascal Records.
Wash your face in Orange Juice is double CD compilation of some of Peter's most loved songs. It is currently his best seller.
Tickle Pot was a children's radio series hosted by Peter that aired on ABC radio between 1988 and 1991. In 1990 it received the rather prestigious title of "Best Radio Program In The World" at an awards ceremony in New York. It was compiled onto CD and released through ABC Audio in 2002.
Classic Fairy Tales is a collection of song and story versions of some of the most loved fairy tales. The stories are read by Peter, and the songs are written and performed by Peter. It was released by Bolinda Audio in 2003.

A 3 CD set of Peter's best known albums - Toffee Apple, Spaghetti Bolognaise & Newspaper Mama, all of which have achieved gold and/or platinum status. Peter reads and sings 4 more favourites - The Pied Piper of Hamelin, Cinderella, Rumpelstiltskin and The Billy Goats Gruff.
Ticklepot was the last ABC Children’s Radio Programme to be made. It was heard each week day on Radio National from 1988-1991 and was hugely popular. Each episode, based on a song by Peter Combe, is an adventure in the lives of Peter and Monkey with frequent appearances by their friends Parrot and Tortoise. It was voted best children’s programme in the world in New York in 1989. Why the ABC stopped producing it is one of life's great mysteries! Well, that's 22 releases, 7 Gold Albums, 2 Platinum, 3 ARIA awards and 3 ARIA final nominations, just incase you can't be bothered adding up the fine print under each cover!
